Rustic Wedding at Spruce Mountain

Dreaming of a rustic wedding at Spruce Mountain in Colorado that’s equal parts scenic and sentimental? Alysa and Drake’s summer wedding is the perfect inspiration! From cowboy boots to handmade ceremony details, their day was filled with so much love, laughter, and an epic party atmosphere from start to finish.

Rustic Wedding at Spruce Mountain

A Perfect Summer Colorado Wedding Day

This rustic wedding at Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado, is hands down one of the most stunning venues for a beautiful wedding. With wide open meadows, cozy lodge interiors, and sweeping mountain views, it blends elegance and country charm in the best way possible. Alysa and Drake chose the Lower Ranch for their celebration, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect!

The day kicked off with the girls getting ready at Ruby’s Cottage and the guys hanging out in Albert’s Lodge. There was such a relaxed and joyful vibe as everyone prepped for the big day. Alysa even had her “something blue” stitched onto the bottoms of her wedding boots—the sweetest detail I’ve seen!

Thoughtful Touches and Rustic Decor

Drake put his heart into the day in a very special way—he hand-built a wooden cross for their ceremony, which was held under the venue’s gorgeous open-air pavilion. It framed their vows beautifully and added such a personal, meaningful touch to the ceremony. The decor throughout the venue leaned into their rustic western theme, with sage green and burnt orange tones, ivory accents, cowboy hats, and boots galore.

Inside the Colorado Room, the reception space had all the cozy charm of a mountain lodge, making it a perfect fit for their style. Think wood beams, twinkle lights, and all the rustic wedding details you could imagine. It was warm, inviting, and full of character—just like the couple themselves.

Rain, Sunshine & a Killer Sunset

Right after the ceremony and family photos wrapped up, the clouds rolled in—and instead of being a wedding day disaster, the timing was chef’s kiss. The rain came after all the important outdoor moments and left behind the most dreamy golden light. We ended up with a fiery Colorado sunset and vibrant colors that popped in every direction. It was the kind of magic you can’t plan but are always so grateful for.

Speeches, Love, and an Epic Party

From the heartfelt vows to Alysa’s first look with her dad and brothers, every part of the day was overflowing with love. And don’t even get me started on the speeches. There were six of them, and every single one was filled with emotion, laughs, and happy tears. It’s so clear how loved Alysa and Drake are—not just by each other, but by everyone around them.

Once the dance floor opened, it was full-on celebration mode. The DJ kept the energy high and the dance floor packed, and their private last dance at the end of the night was such a sweet moment to wrap it all up. Oh—and yes, a lot of beer showers!
