Are You Ready to elope in Colorado?
I personally am choosing to elope so we can relate on that aspect! If you’re still deciding on a location, I recommend eloping in Durango, eloping in Ouray, eloping in Silverton, or eloping anywhere in Southwest Colorado! You’re choosing to elope, so why not elope in the state’s most beautiful mountains?
I’m your go-to girl when choosing a Colorado elopement photographer! Seriously, I spend A LOT of time around the state, and finding the most breathtaking locations is a big hobby of mine. The San Juan National Forest is the perfect and quiet place to elope! There are so many beautiful and secluded areas so you won’t have random hikers during your vows!
My number one goal is to eliminate stress, be there for YOU, and have the most fun elopement ever!
What is an elopement?
Elopements aren’t what they used to be. Elopements are for couples who want to have fun, marry their best friend in a magical place, and capture some epic photos!
There are no rules when it comes to eloping! The day is yours!
Elopements come in all shapes and sizes. Invite your parents and best friends or just plan a romantic getaway for the two of you. There’s no right or wrong way to elope!

That's a good thing I live. If you’re wanting a location close to the airport for easy access, I got you! There are so many awesome spots along the Front Range or you can even boogie up to Rocky Mountain National Park! There are some spots there where it's accessible year-round.
WHAT ABOUT MAROON BELLS?
If you’ve heard of Aspen, you’ve probably heard about Maroon Bells. This is one of my favorite spots in the state by far. Keep in mind the reservation is very difficult to get and you need to book your spot exactly one year in advance. This goes for some national parks as well. If you're set on a specific spot and date, be prepared to be flexible.
DO WE NEED A PERMIT TO ELOPE?
That depends. If you’re getting married at a popular destination spot then yes you do need a permit. I’ll walk you through all of the steps so there is no confusion and can recommend locations where no permit is needed.
DO WE NEED AN OFFICIANT?
Nope, Colorado is one of the only states where you can marry yourselves! You can also have your dog sign the marriage license with their paw print. After booking, my Elopement Guide tells you all about how to get your marriage license and what you need to do.

If you want to Jeep to the top of black bear pass with some pizza? I'm down! I do all of the planning, research and bookings so all you have to focus on is getting married!
My husband and I eloped in a small mountain town in Colorado. Because it was a private ceremony, having our special day captured was very important for us. There are many reasons we decided to elope. One in particular was due to budget. Being something we planned quickly, we had to work with what we had if you know what I mean. Long story short, Kelsey is basically an angel from heaven. Literally, she found the dopest spot with the most beautiful scenery. Trees, mountains, and snow. Our friends think the pictures should be in a magazine LOL She captured so many special moments from the beginning, middle, & end of the elopement. It was cold but we suffered through it and I am forever thankful we did. We have the most perfect photos and memories because of Kelsey. I was surprised to see how many photos she provided in the final gallery. I honestly did not expect that many photos. So that was amazing. Kelsey is so sweet. During the session, my husband and I were literally having so much fun that my veil flew away & we did not even notice. Kelsey ran and grabbed it for me from the snow. So sweet. If your anxious, don’t be. Kelsey is personable & made us laugh! We were able to be ourselves, laugh & kiss. I was impressed with how quickly we received our photos. I didn’t expect to receive so many so quickly and they were perfect. I have received so many compliments from friends and family about the pictures. The entire experience was perfect. Without Kelsey, our day wouldn’t have been as memorable as it was.

Colorado Elopement Photography Pricing
All of my elopement packages come with unlimited one-on-one meetings/calls. I do all of the research, location scouting, and planning for you! I always send over local vendor recommendations and questionnaires throughout the process! I’ll also design you a custom timeline and act as your day-of-coordinator. I focus on planning intimate elopements where hikers won’t be interrupting your ceremony. Every couple will also receive a personalized booking gift, upwards of 50 photos per hour of coverage, print rights, and an engraved photo box. Photos will be delivered via an online, private gallery.
My elopement packages in Colorado start at $1650 with couples spend an average of $4500.
Frequently Asked Questions
The number of photos will vary since every wedding is so different! Typically you can expect 50-100 photos per hour of shooting. I never limit the number of photos or charge for extra photos. This is your wedding day and if there’s a good photo, there’s no way I’m not going to show you that!
Nope! I am happy to recommend locations right near parking lot. I’ll never make you do something you don’t want to do, so don’t worry! You don’t have to spend an entire day backpacking to still get epic views!
All final galleries are delivered through a online private gallery. You’re able to download your wedding photos and you have the option to order prints. I aim to get full galleries done within 4 weeks and I always deliver a sneak peek within 48 hours after your wedding day!
I am here to help! When choosing me as your Colorado elopement photographer, I always provide so many helpful details, vendor recommendations, things to do and time line creation. I also scout out your location and will send you photos beforehand of the location! Everyone receives a elopement planning guide which includes tips for planning a Colorado elopment and tricks to remember on the day of. I offer complimentary engagement sessions if you’re visiting before the big day.
Yes!! I am currently based in Denver, Colorado but offer worldwide travel! I’ve even shot weddings in Australia! I love traveling and there’s no place I wouldn’t go! There are no travel fees for any Colorado elopements or weddings.
Yep! We’ll do a consultation before anything gets printed so you can choose your favorite images and I can make sure the album fits your vision. I offer albums and prints for any photo session. Wedding albums start at $500, including engraved real leather and suede options!
