You just graduated, you’re traveling from out of state, or just want some new family photos? My goal is to highlight you and your favorite people in the most beautiful scenery!

My family photo sessions are relaxed, laid-back, and never overly posed. I’ll never be afraid to tell you to move a piece of hair or move your chin a little without being over the top. Your little ones can play freely and your family can enjoy time together while I do my thing and capture some amazing candid photos. Whether your traveling to Colorado, welcoming a new baby, needing a new Christmas card, or whatever your reason is, family photos are a great way to capture a particular time in your life!

In the end, you’ll receive a full gallery with a good mix of candid and traditional photos.

I always take the time to figure out exactly what type of photos you’re looking for and what type of scenery. Mountains? Lakes? Deserts? Fall leaves? Snow? Colorado, Utah, and Arizona have a lot to offer! I always professionally retouch my photos so you can relax knowing it is my job to make you and your family look your best while having fun!

How does booking work?

1. After I get all the details (email, text, or we can FaceTime), I’ll send over a contract and payment info.

2. You pay your 50% deposit. This secures your photoshoot date and time. The other half is due on the day of.

4. We hang out and take some fun photos!!

5. Within 48 hours, I will send a photo sneak peek!

6. Within 3 weeks, I will send you your custom online photo gallery where you can choose your favorite photos to download! All photos are Hi-Res and professionally edited/retouched by myself.

Hi! I’m Kelsey! I love the outdoors, people… and people who love the outdoors! I moved to Colorado 6 years ago because well… the mountains!

It’s my job to take you to some of the most beautiful scenery and take some amazing family photos in the mountains! I’ve lived all over this state and have the best recommendations.

What first sparked my interest in portrait photography was when I got a job in college with a company taking elementary school portraits. Combined with years of experience as a summer camp counselor, I have some tricks up my sleeves to make the little ones laugh to avoid any grumpy, sleepy tears.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many photos will we receive?

The number of photos will vary since every family photo session is so different! Typically you can expect upwards of 50 photos to choose from. I never limit the number of photos, if there’s a good photo, there’s no way I’m not going to show you that! The final number of photos delivered will vary on which session you choose.

When and how will we receive our photos?

All final galleries are delivered through an online private gallery. You’re able to download your family photos and you have the option to order prints directly from your gallery. I aim to get full galleries done within 3 weeks and I always deliver a sneak peek within 48 hours after your photo session.

I want family photos in Colorado but I live out of state

That is okay, I am here to help! When choosing me as your family photographer, I always provide so many helpful details, a planning/what-to-wear guide and plenty of location recommendations! You want a lake and mountains, I gotcha! Thinking of an epic mountain overlook, I know just the place! I’ll tell you the weather conditions, what shoes to wear, and I always have hand warmers just in case it get’s cold.

Do you travel?

Yes!! I am currently based in Durango and Denver, Colorado but offer family photo sessions all over the state and surrounding states! I love traveling and there’s no place I wouldn’t go!
